JS Presents! Ep. 73 - Robert Priest x Jessica Stuart

Tranzac, Toronto, ON

This city and our extended music community are home to some world-class songwriters, and Jessica Stuart’s monthly series and residency, ’JS Presents’ aims to celebrate those creatives, and to put their songs, and the stories behind them, in the spotlight. August features the fab Ryan Spratt!

Launched in 2018, ‘JS Presents’ includes curated, pared-down performances by one featured guest songwriter, and Stuart herself, and the series brief includes a mandatory “world debut” from each artist, making each episode completely one-of-a-kind.

This series is a rare opportunity for performers and audience alike - not only providing a listening-room experience for presenting new works, and the otherwise untold stories behind those works, but serving a healthy dose of the breaking of the fourth wall, and the chance to put the SONGS on the pedestal they deserve!

Past featured songwriters include: Barbra Lica, Denielle Bassels, KC Roberts, Kobena Aquaa-Harrison, Lily Frost, Chloe Watkinson, Lydia Persaud, Laura Barrett, Ori Dagan, Jordana Talsky, Laura Fernandez and many more
